Security Systems Manager - Fire Alarm & Security Systems
We're hiring a hands‑on Service Manager to lead our field service operations. This is a working leadership role ideal for an individual who understands fire and security systems and wants to take their career to the next level.
You’ll oversee a team of coordinators and technicians, handle scheduling and quality control, and remain involved in fieldwork when needed—especially for escalated service calls, complex deficiencies, or troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise field service technicians across multiple job sites
Oversee and support service and inspection coordinators
Review service requests, schedule dispatches, and oversee workload distribution
Oversee system inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repair as needed
Ensure all work complies with NEC, NFPA, state, and local codes
Communicate with clients on deficiencies, quotes, and contract recommendations
Coordinate with the estimating team on parts, scopes, and timelines
Train and mentor techs on service protocols and equipment standards
Maintain documentation of service calls, inspections, and repairs in CRM
Requirements
3–5+ years of experience in fire alarm, security, or low‑voltage service
Ability to lead and coordinate service crews across territories
Proficiency with troubleshooting fire panels, CCTV, access, and burglar systems
Clean driving record and ability to pass background/drug screening
Strong organizational and customer‑facing communication skills
Bonus
NICET certifications
Valid Class D Electrician License or Journeyman Electrician License (NH/MA/ME/CT preferred)
Licensure in multiple New England states is a major plus—industry pros know the value of that flexibility
Experience working with Eagle Eye, Brivo, PTI
Experience quoting deficiencies and building service proposals
Background working with Honeywell, Silent Knight, Notifier, or similar Fire Alarm systems
Familiarity with inspection report generation or CRM documentation
