Responsibilities The Project Manager, Operations will manage and drive key strategic projects and programs within the organization, focusing on health plan innovation, value-based care, and support services enhancement. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross‑functional teams, facilitating communication, and ensuring the successful execution of initiatives aligned with the organization’s long‑term goals.

Ensure project scope, budget, timeline, and scope meet key success metrics (client satisfaction, budget, timeline, scope).

Work in the Reno, Nevada area; the position can be hybrid/remote‑flexible with in‑office requirements.

Job Summary The Project Manager, Operations reports directly to the COO and is responsible for developing detailed project plans, defining project scope, and managing the project lifecycle from initiation to closure. The role evaluates technical feasibility, aligns solutions with business objectives, and communicates program status to senior leadership. The position is a high‑impact, high‑responsibility supporting role that holds project teams accountable to timelines and commitments, ensuring seamless implementation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related health care degree, MBA, or master’s in public health.

Two years of project management experience within the healthcare insurance industry preferred.

Project management certification preferred.

Knowledge of computer systems and experience using databases and demonstrated proficiency in a variety of computer applications.

Some technical analysis skills required.

Experience working with cross‑functional teams highly preferred.

Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

Strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Self‑motivated and able to provide results with minimal supervision.

Experience in managing multiple projects and reporting.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills as well as personal initiative to lead people.

Must be local in Reno, Nevada area.
