Job Summary / Description WALB News 10 in Albany, Georgia, is looking for a Digital Content Manager to lead our high‑performing digital team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Digital Content Producer ready to make a jump into leadership. WALB is a digital‑first newsroom that excels in digital metrics and consistently ranks among the top Gray stations in online video views and engagement.
The WALB Digital Content Manager will be responsible for content on multiple digital platforms, including web, social media, and livestreaming. The role requires knowledge of social media algorithms and the ability to adapt strategies accordingly. The manager will work closely with newsroom leadership to implement engaging content plans and will exercise strong newsroom judgment while maintaining a flexible schedule.
Qualifications & Requirements
An educational background in journalism or communications.
At least 2 years as a digital producer in a newsroom.
Previous leadership experience preferred.
