is collaborating with a hospital in eastern Indiana that has an opportunity for a skilled Anesthesiologist Assistant to provide locum coverage.
About the Opportunity
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 or 10-hour shifts
Patient Volume: 10-15 per day
Case Types: Everything but burn, complex peds, and transplant
Facility: Bread & butter ORs, outpatient orthopedic surgery center, endo suites, and cath lab
2:1 or 3:1 care team model
EMR: Cerner
During your time off, walk scenic riverfront trails, discover interactive exhibits at a hands-on science center, and fish on nearby reservoirs surrounded by forested parkland.

Rate:
$200 per hour
Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered Anesthesiologist Assistant Indiana state license
Graduate from a fully accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program
One year of work experience as Anesthesiologist Assistant
One year of EMR experience
Board Certified
SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
