Network Field Technician
We are seeking a
Network Field Technician
to join our team and support data center operations in Los Angeles. This role will focus on server deployment, cabling, and hardware maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of one of the world’s largest distributed platforms. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and experienced in managing data center environments.
Key Responsibilities
Install, rack/un‑rack, and maintain servers, switches, and related equipment.
Run and manage
Ethernet, power, and fiber cabling .
Replace disk drives, memory, and perform basic hardware troubleshooting.
Conduct fiber work, including scoping, cleaning, and light meter testing.
Box/unbox, organize, and process incoming/outgoing equipment and RMAs.
Report damaged packages to logistics and ensure accurate documentation.
Collaborate with network infrastructure engineers and internal teams to support deployments.
Requirements
Prior experience in a
data center environment .
Ability to
lift 50–70 lbs
and move/un‑box equipment for extended periods.
Proficiency in
English
(and local language, if applicable).
Reliable transportation for travel between local sites.
Must have:
Laptop & cell phone
Valid driver’s license
Basic hand tools
Availability for
daytime training (M–F, 8am–5pm) , with flexibility for night/weekend work when required.
