As a Storage Engineer, you will be part of a global team, managing the lifecycle for block and data protection products for our client's enterprise level deployments. You will be responsible for various efforts, installation, maintenance, upgrades, tech refresh and migrations. Pay rate ranges from $42/hr - $48/hr and is dependent upon experience and fit for opening. Manage the lifecycle for block and data protection products for global enterprise deployments as part of a cross-functional team. Installation, maintenance, upgrades, tech refresh and migrations for storage platforms. Work with engineering team to implement new products and solutions. Planning, coordinating and upgrading components of the storage products with software, hardware and code upgrades. Qualifications
Overall 7+ years of experience and at least 3 years of experience in enterprise storage, backup administration and disaster recovery. 3 to 5 years of experience in Pure Storage Flash Array and block storage products. 3 to 5 years of experience in Rubrik r6000 series data protection products. 3 to 5 years of experience in Brocade G series fabric switch products. Familiar with operating systems, Linux, Windows and Network components. Proficiency with Python or other scripting languages. Familiar with Hypervisor and operating systems. Understanding of infrastructure resilience and disaster recovery. Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills. Experience with storage products from Dell, Hitachi and NetApp (not mandatory).
