is looking for a
Senior Gameplay Engineer - Combat
to join our team to work on Project Sirius – an original video game combining beloved aspects of The Witcher world with immersive multiplayer gameplay.
In this role you will collaborate with our team working in Unreal Engine 5 to build new mechanics and features to generate compelling gameplay. You’ll be in charge of defining, building, and maintaining the core system of character ability management.
Daily Responsibilities
Work closely with designers and animators to fulfill the vision of the game
Build and maintain solid and flexible gameplay systems that work in both singleplayer and multiplayer
Write high‑quality code that is optimized, bug‑free, and aligned with project goals
Qualifications
At least 10 years of professional experience as a programmer within the games industry
Proficiency in C++ programming and knowledge of Unreal Engine
Ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome technical challenges and drive innovation in technology
Extensive multiplayer experience
Knowledge of game engine architecture and algorithms
Thorough multi‑threaded programming skills
Excellent communication skills – ability to communicate across language and time‑zone barriers is essential
Nice to have
Shipped at least one Unreal‑based project for Xbox or PlayStation consoles
Experience using GAS
Additional Information This job can be hybrid/in‑office from Boston or fully remote from anywhere in the US or Canada.
