About This Role As an Applied Scientist – Human-Centric Modeling at Amigo, you will develop models that capture the complex dynamics of human behavior in healthcare contexts. You will design systems that model patient-provider interactions, population-level health behaviors, and the human factors that influence healthcare outcomes. Your work enables our AI systems to optimize around human-centric problems by understanding and predicting human behavior patterns in clinical settings.

What You’ll Do

Design models of human behavior in healthcare contexts, including patient-provider interactions

Build population-level models that capture demographic variations and health behavior patterns

Create systems that model healthcare workflows and human decision-making processes

Build frameworks for understanding and modeling bias in human healthcare decisions

Design systems that optimize AI behavior for human-centric outcomes

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure models reflect clinical reality

What We’re Looking For

Strong background in behavioral modeling or human-computer interaction

Experience with statistical models for human behavior prediction

Knowledge of healthcare systems and clinical workflows

Understanding of statistical methods for analyzing human behavior data

Track record of building models that capture complex human behavior patterns

Nice to Have

Healthcare industry experience or clinical research background

Experience with conversational AI or dialogue systems

Background in health psychology or behavioral economics

Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient privacy requirements
