Overview With the growth of our iOS app, we need a Senior iOS Engineer to support the new user base and help push new and exciting projects. This role is ideal for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast‑paced environments, is passionate about product decisions, and has experience building great user experiences that delight users.
Responsibilities
Lead key engineering and product decisions.
Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app.
Work within a dedicated product team.
Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap.
Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture.
Qualifications
Experience building products that scaled to a large user base.
Track record of engineering products from inception to traction.
Customer obsession – continuously obsess about providing the best possible experience.
Product thinking – make thoughtful decisions about product evolution and support internal teams and designers.
Speed – work quickly to generate ideas and decide what can ship now.
Focus – know how and when to engage or be heads down in a high‑growth remote team.
Technical skills – Swift, SwiftUI, multithreading, CI/CD, Fastlane, SOLID principles, Git.
Technical Requirements
Swift programming language.
SwiftUI experience.
Experience in multithreading programming.
Working with CI/CD infrastructure.
Experience with Fastlane.
SOLID principles, the ability to write every single class according to SOLID.
Experience with Git and understanding of different Git strategies.
