Milton, Vermont – a large campus within 30 minutes of Burlington with onsite cafeteria, fitness center and a 200,000 square foot machine shop. Benefits include shift work premiums, annual incentive bonus, 401k contribution, private land for recreation, onsite gym and cafeteria. Position
CNC Programmer (Day shift – 5:30 AM to 1:30 PM). Salary range: $27 – $31 per hour. 5+ years machining or programming experience preferred; Certified CNC Machinist Apprentice preferred. Key Responsibilities
Verify manufacturing routings and communicate required changes to Process Planning. Create machining programs for a wide range of CNC equipment using CAD/CAM system and Husky customizations. Utilize basic CAD skills to create geometry for NC tool path creation. Communicate with engineering for any required model changes. Create complete documentation (setup and tool sheets) for all machining programs. Ensure all programs are problem free through verification/simulation software before release to the manufacturing floor. Use TeamCenter effectively to search, manage and control machining programs. Attend SQDC team meetings with a focus on continuous improvement. Exhibit a positive attitude and work to overcome challenges through problem solving and creativity. Qualifications
Dependability, timeliness, and good organizational skills. Familiarity with CNC machines and machine shop practices. Good knowledge of cutting tools. Comfort with computer software, specifically CAM/CNC programming software. Solid understanding of machine controls as related to programming.
