Position Description:
We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join an innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking development team. This position is available either onsite in Raleigh, NC, or remote, provided you can work East Coast (ET) business hours.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that drive real value. You will collaborate closely with product owners, fellow engineers, and stakeholders to build features, resolve issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of both product and process. This team values creativity, input, and a proactive mindset—making it a great environment for skilled engineers who love problem-solving and clean code.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement new features and functionality using
C# and WinForms Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements and deliver impactful software enhancements Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently and effectively Contribute to code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables Use
Azure DevOps
for task management, version control, and CI/CD workflows Follow Agile development practices in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Support integration efforts with third-party services and industry partners Maintain coding standards and documentation across all development tasks
Required Skills & Experience:
4+ years of
hands-on experience with C#/WinForms
in a desktop environment Strong understanding of
object-oriented programming principles
and
design patterns Experience developing and consuming
Web Services (REST, SOAP)
with
XML and JSON Familiarity with
unit testing frameworks
such as MSTest, NUnit, or xUnit Solid experience working in an
Agile/Scrum environment Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Strong customer service mindset and the ability to thrive in a team setting
Preferred/Bonus Skills:
Experience with
WCF, WinForms, NHibernate, or Windows Workflow Foundation Experience with
multi-tier or distributed systems architecture
