This role is with Raymond James. WayUp is partnering with Ray..nder James to hire top talent. The Assistant to the Chair (A2C) supports the Executive Leadership Team, the Chair, and the CEO, driving strategic initiatives and building leadership skills through a fast‑track two‑year program.

Job Summary
Support and work alongside the Executive Leadership Team to shape the firm’s strategy and business development.
Lead special projects from conception to execution, delivering insights, recommendations, and tools to senior leaders.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive financial results and strategic initiatives.
Regularly participate in board and senior‑management meetings and training sessions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop long‑term strategic plans in partnership with senior leaders.
Drive large‑scale initiatives, including:
Preparing project proposals and detailed plans.
Understanding business cases and stakeholder motives.
Gathering and analyzing potential solutions.
Reviewing financial justification for projects.
Delivering written and oral presentations to senior decision makers.
Monitor competitor movements and evaluate strategic implications.
Establish and maintain relationships with functional areas across the organization.
Perform other duties as required.

Leadership:
Lead cross‑functional initiatives without direct reporting authority.
Autonomy:
Operate independently with little supervision.
Customer Service:
Lead others in providing high‑level service.
Collaboration:
Encourage and support team participation.
Project Management:
Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Analysis:
Evaluate alternatives, develop proposals, present recommendations, and address issues proactively.
Finance & Strategy Knowledge:
Business planning, advanced finance principles, financial markets, corporate strategy concepts.
Presentation Skills:
Deliver written and oral presentations.
Process Improvement:
Implement process improvement initiatives.
Project Management Methodologies:
Manage projects using established methodologies.
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
Currently enrolled in the second year of a fully accredited full‑time MBA program **or** recently graduated from one.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant business experience.
Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training approved by Human Resources).
May require FINRA/NASAA licensure during tenure.
Location & Travel Hybrid; In‑office 4–5 days/week at the St. Petersburg office. 5% of the time will require travel.
