Position Overview The Care Giver’s role focuses on delivering hands‑on care, physical and emotional support, and maintaining a safe, comfortable home‑like environment for each resident.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas
Promote resident independence, dignity, and physical safety
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating) as instructed
Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities
Qualifications
Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
High School diploma or GED required
Must be 18 years of age or older
Previous experience working with seniors preferred
Effective communication with residents, management, and co‑workers
Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate sound judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
