This role supports Cencora’s mission to create healthier futures for people and animals. As a Territory Manager, you will build strong relationships with veterinary professionals, serve as a trusted partner, and drive growth and success in your territory.

Responsibilities

Call on target, current and prospective customers to generate sales, improve market share, and increase income for MWI.

Utilize computer sales tools—MWI e‑mail, Outlook promotions, and the MWI Territory Manager website.

Understand the needs of veterinarians and clinics and recommend products and services that meet those needs.

Establish appropriate relationships with veterinarians and clinics.

Review and utilize sales analysis and top supplier reports in pre‑ and post‑call planning.

Prepare and maintain a written call cycle consistent with territory changes; share information with ISR and Regional Manager.

Stay current on MWI’s full product and service line.

Demonstrate competency in MWI sales programs, promotions, and products.

Create account profiles for customers within territory.

Respond to communication from customers, MWI team members, and manufacturer representatives.

Detail or demonstrate new products and promotions for customers.

Ensure timely submission of reporting.

Meet sales goals and budget numbers by territory and manufacturer.

Act as a resource to customers on business matters such as inventory management, equipment, and products.

Serve as the point person for customers on almost all dealings with the company; work with MWI personnel to resolve issues.

Maintain vehicle in a professional manner.

Collaborate closely with key vendors and Product Specialists.

Provide adequate support material and details in vehicle.

Comply with requests from MWI Regional Managers and leadership.

Participate in conference calls and meetings as requested.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of outside sales experience, preferably in animal health.

Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills and a proven ability to sell.

Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Speak effectively in individual or group situations with appropriate non‑verbal communication.

Provide customer‑oriented service, establish effective relationships, and respond to customer needs and priorities.

Understand the organization’s objectives, structure, and work effectively within the company.

Know customers within the market territory, competitors, and marketplace trends.

Define quality service based on customer needs, deliver predictable levels of service, and resolve problems quickly.

Display knowledge and proficiency in explaining, selling, and administering products.

Maintain technological expertise and apply effective technology to advantage.

Communicate openly, honestly, and respectfully; adapt to diverse communication preferences.

Salary Range

$74,000 – $105,820 (National average; ranges may vary by location).
