Cardiologist - Specialist
UCR Health and the University of California, Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine is recruiting a board-certified cardiologist to join a full-time inpatient and outpatient clinical practice within an academic setting. The cardiologist will practice at UCR Health Clinics and/or UCR-affiliated clinical facilities in Riverside and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients, including performing diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and developing treatment plans.
Collaborate with other physicians, surgeons, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Complete documentation and maintain accurate electronic health records.
Participate in clinical practice improvement initiatives and contribute to the academic mission of UCR.
Qualifications
M.D. or equivalent degree and eligibility to practice in California by the time of employment.
Board certification in cardiology (and/or subspecialty such as cardiovascular disease or interventional cardiology).
Minimum of one year of post‑residency training from an accredited program.
Current medical staff privileges at UCR Health and UCR‑affiliated hospitals.
Current work authorization; no sponsorship available for VISA.
Compensation Salary range: $118,100 – $302,700 annually, with additional compensation eligibility based on clinical productivity. Base salary offers are based on education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
