Base Pay Range $115,731.20/yr – $192,878.40/yr
Responsibilities
Review and update pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Oversee formulary management, develop guidelines, and provide drug‑related education to clinical staff.
Collaborate with hospital departments to evaluate, direct, and modify pharmacy services and assist in training clinical staff and learners.
Assist with oversight of other pharmacy team members on the unit when applicable.
Authorship of academic scholarship, including presentations and attendance at national meetings.
Help create and execute collaborative practice opportunities at Children’s National.
Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required.
Minimum of 2 years pharmacy experience in a pediatric, specialized, academic, or clinical setting; 6 years required for candidates without a PGY‑2 residency.
Pharmacist eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia plus/minus Maryland and Virginia (specialty dependent).
Board Certified Pharmacist (BPS) or 1‑year certification required.
