As a
Director of Business Development for Texas , based out of our
Houston
office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy‑efficient building solutions, save the global environment, and create a better, greener future for all.
Why We Need You In this role, you will exercise independent judgment to create and maintain client relationships that will develop business opportunities consistent with AEI’s strategic initiatives, achieved through collaboration with Principals, Market Leaders and other marketing and business development personnel. You will negotiate and develop consultant/teaming strategies, guide the preparation of specific marketing documents and participate in interview preparation as needed. You will continually research and update specific market analysis.
Expertise of Our Most Successful Director Of Business Development
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, or related technical field.
7+ years of professional business development experience in a professional services industry preferred.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to client/prospective client sites and other locations (conferences, etc.) where project development opportunities exist (depends on assignment).

Excellent organization and time management skills.
Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.
