Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

The General Manager (age 18+) is responsible for managing the daily operations of the camp‑resort. As the General Manager, you are the face of our brand within the community. This is a full‑time position and reports to the Regional Operations Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

Day to Day

Establish the expectations for effective presence, through example and follow‑up, to support and observe operations

Maintain the safety and wellness of the facility; ensuring follow up is handled appropriately

Ensure great customer service by coordinating daily operations

Organize and provide timely follow up on all requests from home office

Participate in other projects and activities as assigned

People Management

Development of all managers through consistent feedback and goal setting practices, leveraging internal company processes/systems

Implement and enforce new or changed systems and policies, including communication to appropriate team members

Monitoring and motivating staff

Workforce strategy to include attracting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees

Evaluating performance and productivity

Ensure the recruitment and retention of well‑motivated, trained and developed key personnel

Accounting/Financial

Financial analysis of food, beverage, labor costs and controllable expenses with appropriate action plans to improve financial results

Analyze accounting and financial data to find ways to maximize revenue

Monitor and maintain compliance with labor, expense, and capital budgets

Project Management

Engaging with vendors, capital projects

Education/Training/Experience

Minimum of 3-5 years in a management position. Hospitality, Hotel, and RV Resort Management is helpful, but not required

Project/Construction Management experience preferred

Qualifications/Requirements

Ability to work long hours and weekends

Ability to be on call 24 hours a day during occasional periods

Excellent customer service, communication and problem‑solving skills

Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and writing skills

Must be able to work in a fast paced office environment and perform physical duties of those they supervise

Must have valid driver’s license

Personable, enjoy working with children/people

Possess excellent organization and project management skills, leadership skills as well as the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks simultaneously

Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management

Essential Physical Demands

Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Must be able to remain in a stationary position

Regularly move throughout the office

Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl

Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc
