A New York-based investment advisor with approximately $6 billion in assets under management is seeking a Director of Operations. The role involves leading and scaling the operational infrastructure, ensuring efficient execution across the firm's structured credit and real estate investment operations. Job Responsibilities
Drive the day-to-day operations of the firm, ensuring seamless trade capture, reconciliation, settlements, and reporting. Support trading activity in structured products to ensure proper setup, tracking, and integration into systems. Build, manage, and mentor operations staff, fostering accountability, collaboration, and high performance. Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and scale workflows; implement tools and controls that enhance efficiency and reduce risk. Manage relationships with fund administrators, custodians, prime brokers, valuation agents, and technology providers. Lead operational projects such as system enhancements, workflow redesigns, and infrastructure upgrades that support firm growth. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. 10+ years of middle/back-office experience, preferably within a buy-side fund setting. Real estate investment operations experience required. Advent Geneva expertise strongly preferred. General knowledge of structured credit asset classes, including ABS, RMBS, CMBS, CLOs, and CRE loans. Strong knowledge of cash reconciliation, settlements, CTM, and ALERT. Demonstrated experience managing relationships with custodians, prime brokers, valuation service providers, and other vendors. Base pay range $175,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yr Salary:
$175,000 – $210,000, Plus Bonus
