Under the general direction of the Employee Development Manager, a Staff Services Manager I, the Administrative Support Liaison performs varied and complex analytical assignments which includes writing and administering contracts; providing monthly inventory updates to headquarters by working closely with the Functional Equipment Coordinators; updating the Inventory Database and reconciling with the divisions for consistent record keeping. Incumbent will provide a wide variety of analytical services including, but not limited to, assisting in tracking, managing, and overseeing all District equipment inventory; monitoring and documenting inventory changes; communicating with District/HQ counterparts; and updating inventory reports. The incumbent is also responsible for a wide range of analytical and technical training development activities involved in planning, scheduling and teaching courses virtually and/or in person; conducting training needs assessments; and running and analyzing noncompliance reports. The incumbent is required to act independently on both routine and complex matters, and has authority to recommend action to Headquarters and District Management. Special Requirements
Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a State owned or leased vehicle. The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required to be considered for an interview. Failure to include and complete the SOQ may result in disqualification for interview. The SOQ must be no more than two pages in length, typed in 11-point Arial font, and single-spaced. It should address the following items: Provide examples of your experience working with internal and external customers. Describe how you manage your time and set your own work priorities. Describe any experience using various software applications, including Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Oracle-based applications, and other databases.
