Overview

Position: Surveys Coordination AGPA — Associate Governmental Program Analyst. Location: Sacramento County. Working title: Surveys Coordination AGPA. Job type: Full-time, 12 Month Limited Term - with possible extension or permanency. Telework: Hybrid (discretionary per Caltrans policy). Final filing date: 10/22/2025. Responsibilities

Develop and manage purchases and contract procurements for the Office of Land Surveys (OLS). Manage OLS budgets and expenditures; analyze statewide expenditure and workforce databases; generate reports; provide consultative information and recommendations to management. Coordinate with the Office of Land Surveys staff, Division of Right of Way and Land Surveys (RWLS) Resource Manager, Division of Procurement and Contracts (DPAC), and administrative support personnel. Eligibility for hire may be determined by your score on the Associate Governmental Program Analyst exam. If you are new to state civil service employment, you must be on the state examination list to be eligible for these positions. Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required. Minimum salary: $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month; new to state candidates will be hired at the minimum of the classification or alternate range when applicable.
