This role offers a competitive base pay and an additional $40,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Base Pay Range $48,371 – $117,034 per year
Duties
Provide protection for various protectees.
Conduct criminal investigations pertaining to financial obligations of the United States.
Plan and implement security designs for National Special Security Events.
Carry out assignments in investigations and protection across multiple duty stations in the U.S. and abroad.
Requirements
U.S. citizenship is required.
Possess a current valid driver’s license.
Carry and use a firearm; maintaining proficiency is mandatory.
Be at least 21 and less than 37 at the time of conditional offer, with veteran preference provisions as applicable.
Obtain and retain a Top Secret clearance.
Have uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular and corrected acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye.
Hearing loss must not exceed 25 dB in the 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz ranges.
Submit to a drug test prior to appointment and random testing thereafter.
Complete 13 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and 18 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center.
Sign a mobility agreement willing to accept assignments anywhere in the United States and overseas.
Certify selective service registration or exemption if required.
