Director Engineer / TDS Securitized Products Technology
We are seeking strong developers experienced with trading, operations, and/or analytics systems for residential whole loans and/or residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS). This role will be instrumental in developing the technology architecture and implementation of a new Residential Mortgage Whole Loan trading business build-out.
Depth & Scope
Performs complex to difficult technical tasks independently
Advanced knowledge of technology, tools, various programming languages, processes, and procedures
Extensive knowledge of the business, enterprise technology areas and/or the organization
Key subject matter expert who consults with and may lead clients and/or project teams on multiple aspects of development issues
Works as the senior or lead developer and coaches/guides team members within area of expertise
Resolves highly complex and multifaceted development related problems
Typically reports to an IT Development Manager or higher
Education & Experience
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science
10+ years experience programming in Python and Java
Experience with securitized products analytics systems such as Yieldbook, Polypaths, and Intex
Experience with LMS (Loan Management) systems such as mTrade, SitusAMC Centricity, SBO.net, or similar
