Bandwidth – Director, Channel & Alliances
Bandwidth, a global software company that helps enterprises deliver exceptional experiences through voice, messaging, and emergency services, is seeking a Director, Channel & Alliances to drive revenue attainment, partner coordination, and partner management for a select portion of its channel partner relationships.
What We Are Looking For The Director, Channel & Alliances is responsible for revenue attainment, partner coordination, and partner management for a portion of BAND’s channel partner relationships. The deliverable is to develop and nurture strategic channel partnerships that generate market share and revenue aligned with BAND’s annual goals (quota). The role requires frequent checkpoints for product compatibility, shared vision, fit, and overall value contribution to BAND’s strategic vision.
What You’ll Do
Execute tactical and strategic consultative sales initiatives and account plans for existing and new “Sell With” channel partnerships to achieve revenue targets.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with key partner contacts and their account and sales teams to enhance sales opportunities and industry reach.
Develop partner‑referral opportunities and align with the Account Executive team to work those opportunities.
Demonstrate BAND products in partner solutions to drive a “win together” approach.
Partner with marketing to coordinate events that drive joint revenue.
Maintain awareness of prospective new or innovative partner opportunities in UCaaS and CCaaS segments, competitor activities, and market trends to recommend strategic and tactical sales or marketing actions.
Travel and meet as necessary to maintain presence with partners, attend trade shows, user group events, and other scheduling opportunities.
What You Need
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
5+ years of channel‑driven sales experience working with MSPs, SIs, VARs, etc.
Ownership of partnerships operating in a fast‑paced technology environment with a quota or MBO incentive system.
Proven track record of sales accomplishments and/or above quota achievement.
Deep knowledge of the telecom industry go‑to‑market via channel partners to unlock direct‑to‑enterprise sales.
Strong tolerance for ambiguity; ability to focus and execute in a rapidly changing environment and take charge to make things happen.
