Overview
ICF is a global advisory and technology services provider dedicated to helping clients address complex challenges related to climate change and sustainability. This role supports public agencies, private sector clients, and international partners with emissions inventory, policy analysis, lifecycle assessment, and sustainability planning. Duties
Develop emissions inventories & carbon footprints, build user‑friendly tools, and conduct lifecycle analyses of GHG emissions for facilities, products, and projects. Conduct greenhouse gas mitigation policy analyses, assess federal & state regulations, develop GHG projections, and recommend medium‑to‑long‑term mitigation strategies. Support organizational sustainability by assessing carbon credit options, developing sustainability metrics, conducting Materiality Assessments, and delivering stakeholder engagement and training. Lead analyses of climate change impacts & vulnerabilities, support Clean Air Act, Montreal Protocol, and Paris Agreement implementation, and prepare technical reports. Manage & analyze environmental performance data (GHG, energy, water, waste), benchmark performance, develop dashboards, and act as project manager for complex technical projects. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sustainability, or related field with 5 years of progressively responsible experience in sustainability management or consulting. 4+ years experience building optimized GHG emissions quantification approaches tailored to client goals and data constraints. 5+ years experience conducting air quality impact & mitigation assessments, GHG inventories, climate action planning, health risk assessments, and noise impact & mitigation assessments for public agencies and projects. 5+ years experience developing and presenting technical environmental analysis to technical and non‑technical audiences. 2+ years experience with survey development and lifecycle assessments. Demonstrated knowledge of GHG emissions chemistry and quantification for environmental mitigation. Work Arrangements
Telework: Hybrid position; part time telecommuting. Travel: Up to 5% domestic travel. Location
