Job Description: Mid-Shift - Forklift Operator Specialist Schedule:

Mon-Fri 10 am - 6:30 pm or until finish Pay:

$19 per hour + Incentive. This role involves 50% forklift operation and 50% product selection, with additional incentive pay available during both functions. Position Purpose: As a vital part of our warehouse operations, Forklift Operator Specialists are essential to maintaining the efficient flow of products through our distribution process while upholding quality standards. You will operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks. Your primary responsibility will be to transport incoming freight from staging areas to appropriate storage slots on multi-level racks, as well as replenish pick slots swiftly while adhering to all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality standards. You will also collaborate effectively with team members and perform any assigned duties that serve the company’s interests. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Locating proper slots on storage racks, positioning pallets with the forklift, and entering product data and positions into the system. Counting and checking incoming freight in the staging area before transporting it to the freezer using forklifts or pallet jacks. Replenishing pick slots with outgoing stock items based on work orders for the next day. Rotating date-sensitive stock to ensure freshness by following company policies for outdated inventory. Distributing overstock items to available slots for temporary storage. Cleansing work areas by removing empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to designated areas, inspecting pallets for damage. Adhering to preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures according to company guidelines. Maintaining a safe work environment and reporting any hazards immediately. Reviewing work schedules, performing safety checks on equipment, obtaining necessary supplies, and preparing for operations. Wearing all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear throughout your shift. Meeting productivity and accuracy standards as per location and company guidelines. Working from receiving sheets, computer printouts, established procedures, and written or verbal instructions to complete tasks. Inspecting items for damage, conducting temperature and quality checks, and acting accordingly. Performing housekeeping duties in your work area as necessary. Managing battery operations, including replacing drained batteries with charged ones and completing vehicle inspections. Securing all equipment and completing necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. Performing additional related duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent. 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution experience. Ability to work the assigned schedule and any required overtime. Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift. Ability to lift, stack, and pull products ranging from 10 to 90 pounds Able to work in various temperature environments including coolers, freezers, and dry areas. Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
