Job Description The NBC Sports On Air Graphics Team seeks a freelance full‑time broadcast motion graphics designer for its live sports portfolio and studio shows. You will produce ground‑up motion designs, update templates, and collaborate with Emmy‑awarded creatives on properties such as Sunday Night Football, NBA, Premier League, and College Football. Proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Cinema 4D is essential.

Job Responsibilities

Work closely with the Emmy‑awarded NBC Sports Creative team.

Create graphic and animated elements including in‑game inserts, interstitial graphics, show packages, opens, and titles.

Communicate concepts and ideas to the Art Director and design team.

Manage multiple packages and projects simultaneously while maintaining consistency.

Collaborate effectively with producers and departments under tight deadlines and short timelines.

Qualifications

College graduate in graphic design or fine arts.

Minimum 5 years of experience at a network or broadcast design agency.

Understanding of design implementation in network television and live sports environments.

Passion for show packaging and current graphic design trends.

Strong concept & storyboard design, typography, motion theory, and presentation skills.

Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Maxon Cinema 4D.

Flexible, detail‑oriented, deadline‑driven, and a good collaborator.

Love of sports a plus.
