About Skyline

Skyline creates decorative architectural glass for contract spaces. Using digital printing, etching, lamination, and back-painting, we produce some of the most distinctive glass in the market. Since 1983, our Chicago team has blended technical expertise with design excellence, creating pattern collections with renowned artists and designers while staying committed to sustainable practices.

As a Sales & Design Coordinator, you’ll be the connective link between our sales representatives, national sales director, customer service team, and the design community. You’ll work directly with architects and designers to translate creative intent into glass solutions, helping make Skyline’s glass products clearly understood and successfully specified. This role blends relationship building, project coordination, and product expertise — ideally suited for someone with A/E/C industry experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between designers, sales representatives, and customer service account coordinators. Partner with architects and designers to interpret design intent and recommend appropriate Skyline product solutions. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with design firms and key accounts. Provide technical and aesthetic guidance on glass selection, privacy levels, acoustic performance, and applications. Document project details, design intent, and order status in the ERP system. Support sales representatives in delivering timely and accurate proposals, samples, and project updates.

Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage both creative and technical audiences. Preferred: prior experience in the A/E/C industry (architecture, engineering, construction) or familiarity with design and specification processes. At least 2–3 years of experience in customer service, account coordination, or design-related client support. High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in design, interior architecture, or related field preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP or CRM familiarity a plus. Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines. Genuine interest in design, architecture, and material applications.
