We’re seeking an

AWS Cloud Architect

to design secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions. This role focuses on architecture and strategy rather than day‑to‑day administration, partnering closely with DevSecOps to ensure governance, automation, and best practices across our AWS environment.

What you will do at Sogeti:

Design and document AWS cloud architectures that prioritize scalability, resilience, and compliance.

Translate business and security requirements into actionable architecture designs.

Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to integrate security, automation, and governance throughout the solution lifecycle.

Provide architectural oversight during deployments to ensure alignment with design standards.

Advise leadership and project teams on AWS best practices and cost‑optimization strategies.

What you will bring:

5+ years of experience in cloud architecture.

Deep expertise in AWS core services (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch, and security services).

Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild).

Strong understanding of cloud governance frameworks, IAM policies, and cost controls.

Proven ability to produce clear architecture diagrams and technical documentation.

Preferred:

Familiarity with regulated industry frameworks (CMMC, FedRAMP, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS).

Experience with multi‑region designs, disaster recovery strategies, and hybrid connectivity.

Exposure to advanced serverless patterns (Step Functions, EventBridge, SNS/SQS).

AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification or equivalent.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
