The Work Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a highly motivated full-time Early-Career Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain automation tools and extensibility solutions for IBM Jazz and a suite of digital engineering platforms (e.g., DOORS Next Generation, Engineering Test Management, Pure::Variants). The role will focus on accelerating product development workflows, improving data integrity, and enabling seamless integration across the toolchain.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of software development using languages like Python, and JavaScript, as well as REST API development, and enterprise engineering tools such as IBM’s Engineering Lifecycle Management Jazz. The successful candidate will have familiarity with software design patterns, how to debug software and be familiar with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Direct experience using and customizing IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) / Jazz via its Open Services API
Experience with RESTful APIs, HTML5, JSON, and XML
Experience with requirements development, decomposition, and tracing using IBM DOORS and/or DOORS Next Generation
Basic understanding of integrations such as connecting of OSLC adapters, workflow templates, and more
Experience with Agile/Scrum Development methodologies
Demonstrated knowledge of Software life-cycle development and Software configuration management using Git (branching, merging, pull request workflow)
Hands on experience with Jenkins, GitLab, or similar pipelines.
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
