Position Summary
Broad employee relations guidance delivered by a proactive, consultative HR team. The Human Resources Advisor (HRA) delivers balanced, business and team member-focused HR solutions on employee relations topics, including team member relations, retention, performance management, and HR policies. HRAs collaborate with managers to align HR initiatives with business goals and drive positive company results by analyzing data to identify key people trends.
Responsibilities
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
Determine appropriate action for team member inquiries, complaints, and third‑party action. Facilitate communication among team members and/or management on problem solving, dispute resolution, and policy clarification. Conduct thorough investigations, gather and analyze data, perform interviews, and maintain accurate records and investigation notes. Manage ADA cases, document management, and timely date management while balancing team member and business needs.
ADVISOR ROLE
Advise managers on performance management, coaching, and decision‑making. Analyze HR metrics with business data to identify business impact, conduct root cause analysis, build solutions, and evaluate results. Partner with managers to educate and advise on HR policies, retention initiatives, and practice alignment. Provide proactive problem‑solving and maintain relationship credibility, integrity, and confidentiality.
SUPPORT HUMAN RESOURCES INITIATIVES
Promote and manage corporate HR programs and initiatives. Recommend process improvements under the QDM process. Advocate diversity and facilitate HR‑related training. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of HR experience with advisor level responsibility. Excellent communication, persuasion, negotiation, conflict resolution, and collaboration skills. Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HR business systems. HR certification preferred; expertise in employment law, investigations, policy consulting, change management, retention, and performance management. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Clear written, oral, and presentation communication. Support a multi‑state, multi‑departmental, remote workforce.
Preferred Qualifications
HR certification, education, and development. Experience with large, remote workforces.
Essential Functions
Travel as required for meetings with customers, vendors, and other business needs. Maintain focus and concentration for extended periods. Read and interpret documents and instructions from customers, vendors, and team members. Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members. Perform work activities with cooperation and instruction. Work under fast‑paced, high‑pressure conditions. Work within the appropriate level of independence. Report regularly to work and maintain established business hours to support the business.
Pay Transparency
Starting salary range: $74,833 – $101,000 per year. Additional benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, and bonus potential.
