SUMMARY:

The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist is responsible for searching for qualified candidates through a variety of sources (social media, job boards, professional organizations, etc.) for open vacancies. The Sourcing Specialist will partner alongside the Talent Acquisition team to build a network of diverse candidate pools including passive candidates.

Essential Functions

Coordinate with the Talent Acquisition team to identify critical and hard to fill roles.

Source active and passive candidates through social media, job boards, and professional organizations.

Develop creative marketing and advertising open requisitions through job boards and social media as appropriate and needed, such as LinkedIn and Facebook.

Utilize effective search methods to increase the volume of candidates applying to open vacancies.

Possess and understand basic salary guidelines in accordance with market trends.

Actively participate in the coordinating and planning of career fairs and recruiting marketing projects to expand the candidate pool while increasing the organization’s visibility.

Assist in the tracking of the candidate hiring progression from time of contact to hired.

Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team. Assist as needed with Requisition Creation, Offer Letters, and/or other relevant administration tasks.

Give recommendations to the Talent Acquisition team regarding candidate credentials and determining appropriate skillset.

Track candidate application activity and identify requisitions with limited applicants.

Implement sourcing strategies including but not limited to cold calling, social media campaigns, networking with professional organizations, and assisting in establishing affiliations with schools.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and job boards, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)

Displays strong organizational skills

Demonstrated understanding of the recruiting life cycle with an emphasis on strategic sourcing

Ability to work independently while demonstrating an understanding of the organization’s goals and growth strategy

Experience with graphics to develop content to highlight jobs on social media platforms.

Demonstrates the ability to critically think and provide data on sourcing metrics.

Education And Experience

High School Diploma or GED

Two (2) years in recruitment or sourcing
