Job Type: Full‑time, Travel: up to 25%
Key Responsibilities
Build, mentor, and inspire a matrixed team of developers and data engineers while integrating external AI‑centric vendor partners.
Provide hands‑on technical leadership and mentorship, driving best practices in code quality and Agile delivery.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using C#/.NET Core, ExpressJS, and NestJS for modular, maintainable back‑end services.
Oversee development of responsive web applications with Angular 16+, TypeScript, and JavaScript, ensuring cross‑browser compatibility and performance.
Collaborate closely with third‑party AI‑centric development partners to integrate next‑gen AI tooling, co‑develop hybrid solutions, and accelerate time to value.
Establish and enforce coding standards, security protocols, and governance frameworks across all Technology Enablement Office initiatives.
Drive Agile ceremonies—sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, demos, and retrospectives—to ensure on‑time, high‑quality releases.
Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements, present technical roadmaps, and align engineering efforts with VMG Health’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
Executive education or certificate in AI, machine learning, or digital transformation.
8+ years in software engineering or technical leadership roles.
3+ years managing and mentoring cross‑functional teams in a matrixed environment.
Professional Scrum Master (PSM I or II), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), or equivalent Agile certification.
Deep expertise in Azure cloud services (App Services, Functions, DevOps pipelines, resource provisioning, monitoring).
Advanced proficiency in SQL Server, T‑SQL performance tuning, database architecture, and ETL workflows.
Hands‑on experience designing and building RESTful APIs/microservices with C#/.NET Core, ExpressJS, NestJS.
Strong command of front‑end development using Angular 16+, TypeScript, JavaScript, RxJS, and responsive UI principles.
Familiarity with integrating AI/ML capabilities—Azure Cognitive Services, custom models, prompt engineering—into enterprise solutions.
Proven ability to establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps best practices.
Solid foundation in software architecture patterns, security standards, scalability design, and modular system decomposition.
