Job Description Summary Generator and Electrical Systems support team for generator flange to flange Requisition and fleet support activities and deliverables.
Develop solutions to meet customer needs for instrumentation and electrical equipment on the generator (instrumentation, cabling, wiring diagrams, control hardware, and packaging tasks).
Collaborate across larger systems / product teams to develop integrated mechanical/power/performance/structural simulation, experimental technologies, and solutions.
Selection of equipment, installation design, integration with power plant, and code compliance of finished electrical systems.
Control hardware and instrumentation related tasks for stator rewinds.
Creation of drawings and bills of materials with support of drafting team.
Ensure code compliance, particularly IEC 60079 and NEC 500-505.
Utilize Client software (PLM, AVEVA, ClearOrbit, PowerNow) and create CHGI.

Desired Characteristics Experienced with Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience working in an independent and highly matrixed environment, coordinating across multiple sites, functions. Takes initiative and quickly raises issues for help
Strong bias for action; mechanically minded; high energy. Demonstrated high organizational skills, enjoys structured, transactional, process-oriented work
Strong team player, excellent interpersonal skills; verbal, written communication skills, and presentation skills knowing when to use more technical detail and when to summarize; ability to work with fellow engineers as well as leaders at customer
Solid analytical competencies, ability to troubleshoot quickly and on-the-fly, especially at customer locations
Education Masters or Bachelor of Electrical Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering
