Responsibilities
Support Red Hat and Ubuntu Linux systems and related technologies.
Develop automated Linux OS builds for both servers and workstations, whether virtual or physical.
Leverage Red Hat Satellite and/or Ubuntu Landscape for management and patching of Linux systems.
Utilize Centrify for managing authentication, access control, and privilege management.
Create Splunk dashboards for troubleshooting and analysis.
Collaborate with other technical teams to resolve complex system issues.

Cloud technologies such as AWS and Azure
Virtualization technologies such as Nutanix and VMware
Supporting technologies including LDAP/Active Directory, Identity Management, Authentication, Load Balancing, Patch Management, and Security tools.
Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of in-depth experience with expert-level knowledge of some or all of the following:
Red Hat and Ubuntu both workstation and servers
Custom OS Automated Installation – Kickstart, Scripting
Red Hat Satellite Repositories and Remote Execution [REX]
Privileged Access Management - Centrify
Full Disk encryption - SecureDoc
Scripting languages - BASH/Python
Patch and package management – Tanium/JFrog Artifactory
Containerization – Podman/Docker
Implement security hardening measures, ensure compliance with industry standards like NIST, and contribute to vulnerability management efforts.
Device Control - USBGuard
Understanding of cloud and virtualization technologies:
Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure
VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV
Familiarity with supporting technologies, including:
LDAP, Identity Management/Authentication, Load Balancing
Cisco SDA
Splunk
SCAP
Monitoring and logging tools
Configuration management systems
Other areas to be skilled in are:
Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with engineering support staff and management across teams.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for operational procedures and create and maintain documentation.
Capable of both leading and collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Willingness to propose new ideas and thoughtfully challenge the status quo.

Pay Range $98,500 – $206,800. The range shown is the national average for the position. It can be influenced by geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
