Epic Application Analyst I, II, III, Tapestry Core Administration
Join PIH Health in a remote role across Arizona, Idaho, Tennessee, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. PIH Health is a nonprofit regional health network serving approximately 3 million residents in Los Angeles, Orange, and San Gabriel Valley.
Role Overview The Epic Application Analyst supports the Tapestry Managed Care Administration application. The analyst guides workflow design, builds and tests the system, and analyzes technical issues. This level II role independently manages complex configurations and systems optimizations and mentors level I analysts.
Responsibilities
Guide workflow design for Tapestry Managed Care Administration.
Build, test, and maintain Epic application configurations.
Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues with Epic and connected software.
Mentor and train level I analysts.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Claims, Utilization Management, Provider Network Operation, Case Management, Eligibility and Capitation management).
Required Skills
Understanding of operations within the AP Claims department, including claim intake, review, and payment.
Familiarity with integration points with eligibility, authorizations, and internal claims.
Knowledge of the benefit structure of plans administered by the organization.
Knowledge of managed care vendor contracts.
Experience with operations and workflows in a Management Services Organization.
Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changing end‑user business needs.
Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree or clinical specialty license/certification.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Minimum 4 years of experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
Epic certification in the required application/module obtained within 120 days of hire.
Preferred
Epic certification in Tapestry Managed Care Administration.
Experience working in a Management Services Organization.

Compensation $102,481.00 - $169,104.00
