Senior Accountant
Responsibilities
Perform and review monthly close processes for multiple funds, including financial statements, income allocations, and investor capital statements
Reconcile partnership accounting systems with source systems and clear breaks as necessary
Coordinate monthly close process with third-party administrators
Assist with review, oversight, and training of offshore accounting teams and third-party administrators
Serve as subject matter expert for fund structure, management fee and incentive fee calculations, and fund documents
Ensure compliance with fund governing documents, covenants, investment allocations, and redemption requests
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required; CPA certification a plus
Broad accounting experience, including financial statement review
Experience
Minimum of 3 years’ public accounting or 4 years’ related financial services industry experience
Skills
Ability to understand complex financial information and its implications
Excellent communication skills and judgment in sharing information
$90,000-$115,000 +bonus
