Accounting Manager Position: Accounting Manager

Pay: $100,000k and up D.O.E

Job Description We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant accounting practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting processes, financial reporting, and team supervision, with the ability to manage invoicing, collections, accounts payable, reconciliations, and general accounting activities. This position plays a key role in maintaining cash flow stability, building strong relationships with financial institutions, and keeping executive leadership informed of the company’s ongoing financial position.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage invoicing and receivables collection processes to ensure timely and accurate billing.

Supervise daily posting of sales, cash deposits, and related reconciliations.

Maintain strong working relationships with banks, auditors, insurance companies, and other financial institutions.

Coordinate financial information with Production, Sales, and Inventory teams to support cash flow and planning.

Prepare and maintain accurate financial, payroll, tax, and banking records in a secure and confidential manner.

Monitor and collect past-due receivables using ERP system reports, emails, and phone communication.

Review documentation for accuracy and ensure timely billing to clients.

Support Accounts Payable functions and general accounting processes as needed.

Assist with physical inventories and ensure accurate reporting of parts sales and inventory control.

Provide regular updates to the VP of Finance and President regarding the company’s financial standing.

Perform additional accounting duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, including invoicing, reconciliations, collections, and supervision of accounting staff.

Strong understanding of general accounting principles, auditing, and office procedures.

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under deadlines.

Experience maintaining banking relationships and managing receivables is essential.
