Senior Leasing Associate
Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™ is the fastest-growing commercial real estate company in the country. We are seeking an experienced Associate to create value for landlords by reducing vacancies and developing strategies to increase tenant market presence.
Duties / Essential Functions
Research landlords and tenants
Analyze industry trends to develop property concepts
Attend networking and industry events
Conduct property tours and explain property features and benefits of the trade area
Market space to prospective tenants
Prepare letters of intent and negotiate lease terms
Coordinate an efficient lease‑up process with multiple parties
REQUIREMENTS
Real Estate License required
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related industry or equivalent experience
3-5 years of sales experience preferred
Competitive nature and strong prospecting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organizational competency to maintain regular contact with a large database of clients and prospects
Strong grasp of mathematics; ability to complete financial analysis and underwriting of investment real estate
Professional work ethic and integrity
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Industrious and coachable personality; insatiable appetite for success
