Nutritional Services Manager - CDM
University Retirement Community, Davis’s premier upscale senior living community, is seeking an experienced Nutritional Services Manager (CDM) with a minimum of 5 years of experience to lead our Nutritional Services team with the collective goal of providing exceptional care to our residents. We are not a nursing home or typical senior living center. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Nutritional Services team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to residents.
Develop and implement nutrition programs that meet the individual needs and preferences of residents while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with the broader care team to integrate nutrition plans with overall resident care plans.
Monitor program effectiveness and make continuous improvements to enhance resident satisfaction and outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for regulatory compliance and internal quality assurance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in nutrition services, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting.
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred at the start of employment; candidates must begin certification within the first six months and complete within one year.
ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate a plus.
Food Handlers card required.
Strong leadership, hospitality-driven mindset, and excellent relationship building skills.
Compensation $75,000 - $85,000 annually DOE
