Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28‑acre property was built in 1888 and offers over 750 rooms, cottages, and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets. After a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.
Classification Seasonal. Starting November 24, 2025, ending no later than January 4, 2026
Shift Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Pay Rate $22.92/hour based on applicable experience and location.
What will I be doing? As a Cook II, you will prepare all food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Prepare all food items according to standard recipes and/or as specified on the guest check to ensure consistency of product to the guest.
Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times.
Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner.
Ensure knowledge of menu and food products.
Stock and maintain designated food station(s).
Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen.
Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations.
Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items for production.
Read and employ math skills to follow recipes.
