Executive Director Responsibilities

Support the mission and values of Saint Therese.

Develop, implement, and monitor the strategic plan and associated policies, procedures, and programs to achieve business objectives.

Make recommendations and take action to ensure the long‑term financial viability of the community.

Monitor financial performance and meet budgetary goals; develop and implement annual financial budget.

Recognize and reward staff for exemplary performance and participation in organization‑wide initiatives.

Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to provide services to residents.

Take action to control or minimize unnecessary error or risk.

Participate as a member of the Saint Therese executive management team, promoting the advancement of the organization as a whole.

Resolve customer concerns by taking prompt, active steps.

Implement and monitor the marketing program.

Provide requested information to CEO and Board of Directors; attend board meetings.

Participate in Aging Services of Minnesota or LeadingAge programs and initiatives.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

Licensure:

MN Licensed Nursing Home Administrator; MN Licensed Assisted Living Director.

Experience:

Senior living operations and leadership experience is required, including at least two years leading a full-continuum or CCRC campus as an Executive Director.

Special knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Engage and communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, families, and customers.

Promote and assure safe, quality client and resident care; lead, direct, and provide continuous improvement and best practice.

Passion for caring for older adults.

Identify and measure quality indicators translating to quantifiable outcomes.

Demonstrate successful business development and growth in services.

Strong financial acumen and fiscal/budget experience.

Strong MS Office proficiency.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range $109,907 - $140,000 annually depending on experience.
