Salary range is $87K to $191K with a midpoint of $139K.
New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.

General Purpose Under general direction, directs, plans, designs, and implements agency technology projects in assigned areas of responsibility; manages the quality, scope, schedule, and budget related to assigned project(s) and supports the promotion of the IT‑Project Management Office’s formal processes to support the products delivered to the Agency.
Essential Functions
Drive project leadership toward real-time decisions through Sound Transit project management framework and communication disciplines.
Lead a portfolio review board (PRB) with coordination of internal resources and third parties/vendors.
Ensure all projects are delivered on‑time, within scope and within budget while maintaining quality.
Manage the relationship with all stakeholders to clarify specific requirements of each project; develop comprehensive project plans.
Lead projects that might involve a mix of technical domains: new and updated systems, applications, infrastructure, networks, client/server topologies, hardware, custom software implementations, “off the shelf” solutions, databases, middleware, SaaS solutions and internet/intranet sites.
Facilitate working sessions to define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques; track performance and adjust constraints based on financial analysis.
Provide regular updates ranging from weekly/montly status of projects; brief executive audiences and report escalations to IT leadership as needed.
Develop, teach and train project management non‑project management personnel as required.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, Information Systems, Project Management or closely related field. Five years of experience in information technology project delivery or complex project management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Licenses or Certifications
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).

Creation and support of standards, processes, and procedures that are institutionalized as best practices.

Track and report progress of multiple projects; develop and monitor project operating budgets, costs and schedules.
Analyze procedures and data to develop logical solutions to complex systems problems.
Manage large, complex projects and make decisions in fast‑paced environments.
Prepare and analyze complex data and comprehensive reports.
