Lead the transformation of healthcare as the Regional Vice President (RVP) for Ambulatory Surgery Centers in Florida. This influential position offers a unique chance to drive growth, forge innovative partnerships, and shape the direction of multiple centers. You will oversee operations, financial management, and strategic partnerships while creating a culture of safety delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Design and implement ambitious business plans for each facility, collaborating closely with Surgery Center Administrators to ensure objectives are achieved and regularly reviewed at the board level.
Driving Growth: Accelerate case growth by attracting top surgeons’ talent, optimizing partnerships with healthcare systems, and launching new service lines that drive revenue growth and enhance profitability.
Leadership Development: Develop and mentor future healthcare leaders by providing comprehensive training in HR, finance, and communications, ensuring a robust leadership pipeline and effective succession plans for all key roles.
Partnership Excellence: Proactively oversee physician equity and succession planning while enhancing partnerships with health systems through transparent communication and focused shared success.
Cultural Excellence: Champion USPI’s EDGE and leadership initiatives by implementing programs such as BeSafe and BeKind to foster a culture of safety, enhance patient satisfaction, and create a workplace where leadership flourishes.
Required Skills
Must have operations leadership experience.
Prefer master’s degree in business administration or healthcare administration; equivalent experience considered.
Minimum five years’ experience with exposure to healthcare business development & operations, finance and business consulting.
Demonstrated experience in developing growth strategies and a proven track record in people management skills.
Excellent verbal, written and formal presentation communication skills; ability to work well with "C" level healthcare partners, physicians, employees, patients, and fellow workers.
Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint with strong analytical and presentation skills.
Ability to effectively articulate financial results and respond to questions from hospital and physician partners.
Strong mathematical aptitude to assist with financial budgeting, reporting and analysis.
Travel
Up to 75% travel required (vehicle travel).
Selected candidates will be required to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check.
