Join Pega’s Services Engineering organization, where we build and support the infrastructure that powers our next-generation SaaS offerings. As an SRE Engineer, you’ll work on a new, lean, globally distributed team focused on the reliability, scalability, and performance of Launchpad, our flagship SaaS product.
Please note this role is onsite in Waltham 3 times per week.

What You’ll Do At Pega
Define and implement SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to guide reliability goals.
Collaborate with product and platform teams to design scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
Drive incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Champion automation, observability, and DevOps best practices.
Foster a culture of collaboration across time zones and cultures, ensuring smooth handoffs and consistent service delivery.
Who You Are
A seasoned engineer with a passion for reliability and operational excellence, comfortable working successfully on a small team.
Proven experience working on an SRE or DevOps teams in a cloud-native environment.
Comfortable working with globally distributed teams and navigating cultural and time zone differences.
Strong background in systems engineering, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to influence across functions.
What You’ve Accomplished
5+ years in software engineering or infrastructure roles, with 1+ years in an SRE capacity.
Strong experience working on an SRE team in a SaaS company.
Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Kubernetes, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
Record of success working independently.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, GCP) or CKAD a plus.
Analyst-acclaimed technology leadership.
