Cleaning and Maintenance Clerk - Coney Island Amphitheater
Live Nation Entertainment invites a part‑time seasonal Cleaning and Maintenance Clerk to serve the Coney Island Amphitheater (mid May 2025 – mid Oct 2025). Responsibilities
Keep the venue safe and clean at all times, including cleaning and disinfecting all fixtures, floors, mirrors, doors and walls of restrooms; restock restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed. Maintain work areas neat and orderly, clean equipment, and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned. Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production; perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service. Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program, including implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling. Partner with crew members at the end of show to close the venue, including collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricades, etc. Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities. Perform mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report to proper supervision. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Perform all other duties as assigned or needed. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience. An AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus. Highly motivated and able to work independently. Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs. or more and occasional sitting. Expected Compensation
