About the Role
As part of our newly formed AI Center of Excellence (CoE), the AI Architect Lead will play a critical role in designing and implementing the technical foundation for AI across the organization. The role is ideal for a technically adept leader who can translate business needs into scalable AI solutions, guide infrastructure decisions, and ensure responsible AI deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement the AI technology stack, including tools, platforms, and frameworks.
Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable AI infrastructure to support enterprise-wide use cases.
Evaluate and recommend technologies for model development, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Solution Development & Integration
Engage in the design and development of AI solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
Translate requirements into actionable system designs.
Guide integration of AI capabilities into existing systems and workflows, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum value.
Governance, Privacy & Security
Ensure AI systems meet data privacy, security, and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with legal, risk, and data governance teams to embed responsible AI practices.
Establish protocols for model monitoring, versioning, and ethical use.
Innovation & Enablement
Stay current on emerging AI technologies and architectural best practices.
Advocate for modern engineering approaches such as MLOps, cloud-native AI, and reusable components.
Mentor internal teams and contribute to building technical AI capabilities across the organization.
Qualifications
Strong experience in solution architecture, data engineering, or AI/ML systems design.
Proven ability to lead technical projects from concept to deployment.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP and Azure), data pipelines, AI frameworks, and agent development tool kits.
Familiarity with prompt engineering and LLM fundamentals.
Understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance in AI contexts.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with MLOps, model governance, and AI lifecycle management.
Exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP), multi-tool agent, and multi-agent systems.
Background in enterprise architecture or platform engineering.
Exposure to AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI frameworks.
Compensation & Benefits
Anticipated base salary range: $120,456 to $207,939, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
Eligible for an annual incentive plan.
