Develop and build models in support of analytic use cases Draft technical requirements and data definitions Provide input on current approaches and recommend improvements to best achieve goals Review and suggest improvements to current or planned systems and processes Perform data extraction, aggregation, and quality checks from multiple sources and tables in support of trend identification and root cause analysis Summarize results, create written reports and collaborate with staff to develop business intelligence solutions Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications 4 (four) years of experience in data visualization, statistical models, and data mining tools and satisfactory completion of a two‑year traineeship; OR 6 (six) years of experience in data visualization, statistical models, and data mining tools. Substitution: An associate’s degree may substitute for two years of general experience; or a bachelor’s degree may substitute for four years of general experience. A master’s degree in data or computer science, informatics, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, may substitute for one year of specialized experience. A Ph.D. in the above fields may substitute for two years of specialized experience. Preferred Qualifications Certification or training in data analytics or business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Python, Spotfire, SAS, or R). Completion of training in data governance, quality assurance, or database management systems. Experience in building queries, conducting data validation, and cleaning datasets using SQL or similar query languages. Experience supporting the development of data models, dashboards, and visual reports that help drive decision‑making. Experience working with internal or external stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Strong understanding of data structures, relational databases, and query logic. Ability to identify and interpret trends, patterns, and anomalies within complex datasets. Skilled in presenting data findings in a clear and accessible format to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Familiarity with data visualization best‑practices and interactive dashboard development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Benefits
