Overview
Seeking an experienced DevOps Team Lead to manage a team consisting of engineers located in India and the United States. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and enhance two AWS DevOps environments for the KRIS Connected Platform. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless deployment, operations, and optimization of the KRIS solution.
Roles and Responsibilities
Minimum of 10 years of experience
Lead and manage a distributed team of DevOps engineers, ensuring alignment with project objectives and technical goals.
Provide technical guidance and oversight to the team members, and be the SME on all applications used by the team (Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, Quay, GoAnywhere, RHEL)
Architect and design Jenkins CI/CD pipelines involving new components used by KRIS (e.g. Salesforce, Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA))
Oversee and optimize existing DevOps processes and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for: Docker based Java/Quarkus APIs
GoAnywhere MFT components
Snowflake, Databricks, SQL
Glue, QuickSight
Provide troubleshooting expertise during the monthly upgrades of Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, Quay, GoAnywhere and ICAP.
Engage in quarterly security hardening activities, as well as documenting security evidence.
Troubleshooting infrastructure changes on APIs and deployment automation (certificates, IP changes, firewall changes, proxy changes, etc.)
Remediate issues associated with twice weekly security findings.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Excellent communication and leadership skills
10+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with a proven track record of leading cross-cultural distributed teams.
Strong experience with AWS, RedHat, and container orchestration technologies such as OpenShift and Docker.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Nexus and Quay, as well as source control using Bitbucket.
Experience with security and vulnerability management using Clair, Fortify, Mend, etc.
Experience with Linux/UNIX shell scripting.
Familiarity with database management with Postgres, Snowflake, etc.
AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional certification is a plus.
Pay Rate Range Min Pay Rate 110 Max Pay Rate 125 USD hourly
