We are seeking a talented Senior Project Architect (Aviation) to join our National Award Winning Architectural Practice.
Those interested in joining our team should be proactive and approach design challenges with a willingness to explore lots of ideas.

What You’ll Do
Develop and present lead technical viewpoint on assigned projects to ensure a technical solution consistent with the program and design is properly developed and produced.
Work closely with the project designer and manager in planning and implementing all work processes.
Develop and implement internal controls for all team members assigned to a project and monitor and supervise development of contract documents.
Promote the implementation and enforcement of BIM and design technology standards, best practices, and project team workflows.
Have overall responsibility for coordination with sub-consultants in implementation of quality assurance and quality control checks.
Review and supervise work of less experienced architects and be responsible for all project work planning and scheduling.
May act in a team lead capacity in the absence of the manager.
Serve as subject matter expert on architectural projects of medium to large size.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 8 years of relevant experience.
Registered Architect (RA).
What You’ll Bring
Advanced working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
Skills in computational design or other emerging technologies.
Demonstrated technical ability and leadership skills.
Clear communication skills, including presentation skills.
Patience and ability to mentor and develop others.
Proficient in project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, IPD, etc.).
Proficient in architectural products and systems.
Proficient in building codes.
Knowledgeable in current and emerging tools including Autodesk Revit, cloud file sharing/collaboration, complex 3D modeling, visualization.
Knowledgeable in current accessibility and sustainability codes and standards.
What We Prefer
Experience in Aviation Architecture.
Leading meetings and coordinating with consultants.
Experience in Construction Administration.
Willingness and some experience mentoring less experienced staff.
